As usual, amazing photography...even the "accidents"!
Good to see your ride reports continue. They were missed!

And...Happy BD!
Ride on!

You know, you have some fans a bit further north on 395 that would be happy to show you a good time.

So far it looks like the lumx wins. Nice pass by shot.

Yes, for a ready to roll camera, the lumix did OK.
The one thing I don't like is the touch screen and the fact that is takes exactly as long as the exposure to load the pic and there's a little button on the back that's easy to bump which will delete the pic while it's loading.
There were a couple unfun live and learn moments with it.

It got better with a quick study of the manuals (and emails) that next morning……
Here was my reading/coffee morning view…

Greetings from China

So I went to China on business and LvFei (who some of you may remember from our International Friendship tours) came and took me to dinner and to his new bike shop in Beijing- which rocks!

Lu didn't forget that we should get a shot "doing the Darth". We didn't have a line running down the road to pose on and it was night time in Beijing so it would not have been a good idea to try, so we just used the floor of the shop (and some goofy scooter helmets).

Awesome awesome AWESOME!!!
Love it!
Was just thinking about him when we all met at Peet's in Petaluma a few years ago..
How time flies.
How great to connect with him over there.
I'm sure he'll never forget N california

Ah, yes. I remember it well. Lu loved that ride- he has done some great riding, but that one was special for all of us. Remember when he got stuck on the lost coast? We were laughing about that in China.

Missing your photos...

...squashed cameras do not good piccys take...

No worry about getting into the 40's bracket.... I'm hit 69 this Sept! Ye gods, where have the years gone!... and still have plenty riding to do! Even if it is on a danged Hardley!

Had to laugh about your "20 minute or hours away" comment.
My son's teaching and going to grad school in LA..... the comment is that... even if it's right next door... EVERYWHERE takes 20 minutes to get there....

Brought him out a nice little used Moto Guzzi 750 last month. Even southern Cali looks way better than drought-ridden Texas.... Sucks, I had to trailer the bike out and not ride, but I did have to get back to Texas.
We did find a awesome Japanese restaurant in Compton/Gardena....

Next time out, I'm riding, and intend to pick up some of your jellies....specially Tropical fusion~! Sonoma would be a nice ride from Texas to pick up a jar or two...

Take care and ride safe! An post plenty piccys!
Mary

Great pics as always and I love the Lu pictures.... He's a great guy and I agree he won't forget his ride in N. Cal.

Now on to this:

CaptainAttila is correct we'd love to have you come to our Hells Canyon ride. We'll put out the welcome mat for you.

Waiting patiently for more of the Darth Peach's excellent photography and wonderful sense of humor.
