One thing I learned right away is to never trust a fart again.

"dearth peach"? a pun or a faux pas?

After a re-read, it appears to be the former, sorry.

Ya, no.

I know how you feel, I'm pretty sure I have that same rear tire (though with a *bit* less in the way of tread), and they are really quite exciting when you encounter mud on top of fresh pavement.

Though in light dirt, they really aren't ALL that bad, I mean I don't have to buy new underpants EVERY time I see dirt/gravel.

Jeez, I haven't been back since you killed the thread a couple years ago. I see you're still on your trusty steed and styling in black leather.

You really should consider mounting tires with a broader range of performance benefits. I only ride about 20% dirt and I use DOT knobs all the time. They work for me because the dirt part is important to my enjoyment, and they don't give up any noticeable performance on the tar.

You need 17's and Pirelli makes a sweet Corsa for you. They perform well on the tar and are expensive, but you use expensive tires anyways. They track better in groomed dirt roads. Much better. Good on wet tar too. I used them on a Supermoto. Just sayin' when you change rubber next, get someting with a broader range of performance.

Not sure of the speed ratings with this tire, but it is a great street tire with it's soft construction. It has tread blocks to help in dirt. Lasts maybe 4-5k miles.
