Never having formally tried the self timer on the road, I thought now would be a good time to try since my photographer was on his way to GSdudes in NM........
(I will be keeping my day job)

And there you have it folks....
now back to the scenery!!

A quickie for ADV...

This is a Manzanita bush.
The peeling paperlike bark is one of it's many characteristics.....

These are the Manzanita berries.
During the summer months these are extremely sticky!!

I know because I used to put them in my sisters hair when we were little..........
Cured by her putting gum in mine....

Yep. I bought it about an hour before I left when I went to find/buy a battery for my big nikon......They didn't have it in stock so I got a little cannon power shot for about $150. (that doesn't run on batteries from 'toys'

)

Turned out to be a good little camera!!
Even dropped it several times!
