Great to read that Nick is doing better, and thanks for the donation link. Also glad to see that my old buddy Samson is still at Munroe.
Be well,

A portuguese Peach on a spanish road
Dear miss The Darth Peach, there must be something about you to make me look down a straight, beautiful, over a mile long stretch of road and instead of thinking "pin the throtle" I thought " Hey, I could try to make a Peach here". So, here it is.
And while I ran back and forth (of course it didn´t came right at the first try ) under the hot spanish sun, these two guys were very curious. ![]() Ninjaalentejano screwed with this post 05-19-2012 at 12:32 AM |

It sounds as if he's slowly coming around. Long rehab road ahead, but he is tough and has a ton of people pulling for him, which is great. I saw the crash. Really wasn't pretty. I, along with everyone else that knows him, suspect he'll come out swinging. :) |

Truckee and Pyramid Lake, NV
Last weekend I did a bonsai trip to Truckee and in to Nevada and caught the eclipse...
Really had no plans to go anywhere other than take a break and chill at home. Wiped out from working a full day and riding in to the evening Friday, & half asleep in bed early Saturday, I get 2 texts.. One from a buddy who wants to do a quick coast loop (which is never quick) and the other was letting me know a house was available in Truckee for a night or 2. Can I do both? Why not. Ready to roll....

Perfect weather up there over the weekend, wasn't it? I was chasing 22 intoxicated knuckleheads around Red Hawk, no carts in the water and nobody arrested made for a successful weekend.

Truckee and Pyramid Lake, NV
I had spent all morning rolling around the coast...
Stopped here in a failed attempt to capture some more rolling shots of the Ducati... ![]() Fail as in FAIL........ rider/photographer communication breakdown ![]() Still early in the day, I decide I have enough time to swing home, grab another visor and a toothbrush and head to Truckee.. Parting with the tricolore........ ![]() And heading east...... ![]() Now we all know I'm a tiny bit map challenged, so I am especially happy when I make it based only on an address and my remote knowledge of the area. I know there are no starbucks close by What I didn't know, was that I had scored an awesome place to hang my hat in solitude for a couple days. Turning in the 'driveway'.....
