The route looks very similar to the last BC ride we did in 2008.

You'll have to let us know if you go through this tunnel...

The stretch of highway that this ad was filmed on is in the Fraser Canyon, British Columbia, Canada. The tunnel they did this in is the China Bar Tunnel on Hwy 1 just North of Spuzzum. One of the longest in North America, at 2000'.
The car is a Mercedes SLS AMG Gull Wing. ($183K)
Its interesting, in other YouTube clips they show Michael Schumacher in the car.

There's lots of debate if the stunt is a fake or not. I want to believe.

HUMP DAY NAG-MAIL
Short week and we have made it to Hump Day. It looks like to tomorrow is going to be cloudy with a chance of rain.........I am getting tied of this crap weather.

Yes, tomorrow is MAG day and I will be at CBs rain or shine. Hope to see you all at 6PM tomorrow for BEER and bike talk. This weekend is Black Dog in OR and I know there are a bunch of you planning to go.

I went a few years ago and they were a great bunch of guys to ride with and it should be a lot of fun.

I would absolutely love to do that ride but as my 25th anniversary is on the 21st I think it might be the last ride I ever took...

MAG-NAG-DAY
Yes, it is MAG day and I will be at CBs @ 6PM tonight.
Since I rode to work today, I most likely will ride to CBs (unless it starts raining) so look for the BLUE GS out front and the yellow ADV sign on the table. Tonight's special is BEER and maybe dessert too.

All are welcome. If you're coming on a smaller bike, just know in advance you'll have to wait for all of us slower, lumbering VStrom's to haul ourselves up the roads.

our very own Whitney got 1st place in points, and a giant 4-foot trophy. I think he didn't want to strap it to his bike, which he rode out there, so it's in my garage for now.

I thought of doing an impersonation of Brando in The Wild One, but I'm pretty sure it would have blocked my view.

Oh and I had my hands full with the pogo action going on with the blown out rear shock.

I saw you and your lovely wife out on the course a couple times. Great job. You are a lucky man.
