I will not be able to make it tonight. Doing the Dad thing at my daughter's school. Can't wait until Spring, I am tired of the snow.

First visit to the Bayou - for trip planning too!

Hey you FF's! I've been going to Engel's only because I know some of the folks there. But somehow I got talked into starting this trip planning thread for a PNW Whistler BC trip (probably August).

DirtyBiker has agreed to meet me at the Celtic Bayou for some sharing of Vancouver Island ride knowledge. So come on over and share your knowledge (or soak up what passes for ours).

Was hoping to make it down for this, but just found out tonight, that I have a conflict.

DirtyBiker, I still have some things (bungy cords and a camera case) to get back to you from the 2008 BC ride.

People start showing up between 6-6:30PM. During the winter months I drive the cage but there are a few that plug in the heated gear and join us. I will place an ADV sign at the end of the table, so you know who we are. I think there is a couple guys that are planning a Canada trip this summer that will be here tonight. So you might see maps and books out on the table.

Hi Tom, I'm not an Eastsider (I just work over here) but I'll be there tonight. I'm working on a BC ride (see here)

So I hope I don't seem rude if I'm a bit focused on my maps tonight, it's nothing personal and it's not the normal, just my little two-cylinder brain firing on one cylinder. Hope to see you there!
