Took the 650 up to the southfork a couple of weekends ago. For being such a big bike, I was really happy with how it handled the technical single track

![]() I have a Shinko 244 front on order that's due to arrive Friday. My Shorai and barkbusters arrive Friday. I will be mounting tires this weekend, bark busters, battery, and doing the first oil change at 400mi. Rick, at Cogent Dynamics, should be getting the spare forks and shock tomorrow morning, and I'm going to ask him to do the full cartridge conversion, not emulators, and to do the remote reservoir build on the rear shock, like the pic he has of the one on his site. What I'm hoping to end up with after all the modifications is a DR650 made entirely out of farkles and a stock one made from parts I've removed.
