i must be sick
thinking about buying another ural- found a nice 99' with 1,700 miles on it - my last one was a 2003 i bought new - god these bikes can be a pain but they are fun - 4 grand for this 99 tourist - i'm thinking i'll pull the trigger? - slip

Yes, the Ural is a ton of fun, plus, very addictive. However, the 2006 and newer models are much more reliable.

Ural ownership is a Sickness
Yep all us Ural owners suffer a sickness. I've owned 8 Urals since I bought my first one new in 1999. 2008 has the best upgrades but '99 was a good year too. I currently have a '99 Patrol and an '07 Arctic GearUp. Go for It.
