Thanks, Flash! I took the van to the dealer (not the same wack shop that fixed them with the compression fittings) and they fixed 'em correctly. Appreciate the offer, though. The offending shop was on Preston Avenue here in town.

Looks like my wife and I are headed up early tomorrow morning. We'll be taking Metro in from Vienna.
You won't miss us if you see us; she's very pregnant.

I did about a 6 hour ride into WV this am. Windy over there but still a great ride. Threatening rain until about 11 or so, only got spit on once for about a minute. Went up the road past Lost River State Park, gets up to some serious elevation, great views. Sketchy traction coming down the other side in the wet, on TKC's with sandy stuff everywhere. Bike reminded me to pay attention a couple of times.

Hey, guys, long time no see . . .
I was afraid that my bike didn't know me anymore, I haven't ridden in almost a month. Too long. Sooo, took my little loop ride up Garth Rd. to Ownesville Rd. across to Rt. 250, then back into C'ville. Really a nice day. I've gotta ride the KLR to work this week, car's in the shop. Weather looks good. My garage is coming along nicely, mebbe I'll have to hold a tech day this spring. Hmmmm .. . . ![]() [IMG] [/IMG]

I wish I was riding today. Such a nice day. Jealous of all the riders I'm seeing out and about in the middle of winter today. It's kinda hard to ride though with a straight leg imobilizer that is supposed to stay on for another few weeks. I did manage a little ride a few days ago on the scooter by sitting on the passenger seat. Probably not the smartest thing in the world to do with an injury already.

Good on ya guys Looking good Mark! Mine's still on the damned drawing board unfortunately. I knew you'd get that done in time for a tech day! I'll bring dropcloths... Anybody riding later this week shout out.

That's awesome Mark! Looks great. Glad to see that you've got a good builder lined up.I'd offer to host a tech day but I'm still getting mine set up. We had a baby four days ago so that's eating into the riding time ( ) but I did manage to get out today.

Spring like weather
Foxed,What the hell did ya do to injure your leg?
>>I've been envious seeing riders the last 2 days of Spring like weather myself. Busy with chain saw work. Unlocking a treacherous puzzle of trees, vines, thorn bushes, etc. blown over a metal gate blocking a dirt road. >>>Anyone here riding a black "brick" BMW,Sat. afternoon?,white helmet,Stop sign at Old Lynchburg Rd. & Red Hill Rd. then later during same afternoon,North bound 29 just South of Covesville?

I smartly went enduro racing in South Carolina and my bike and leg had a bit of an altercation with a tree in the tight woods down there. My knee got torn up a bit but it will get fixed up by the great sports orthepedist at UVA. But for now I have to be in this damn brace all the time. I guess I could ride a Harley with a straight leg with the feet forward riding position.
