Think my bike will out "GS" your GS any time, why would I wanna trade.

I had been looking for a good road bike (to me that is) for 1 up riding and I have found it in the MM, just needed a little work. With some tools and within an hour, I can revert it back to a HP2. With the same tools and time, a GS will still be a ..... we'll leave it at that shall we.... I would know, I had one.

A motard this bike is not, no matter what the sticker says, but as a great touring bike that can cover both good and bad roads, its hard to find a better bike. So I will be keeping it, funny blue wheels and all...... now where did I put Woody's number... kekeke

I did the same modif. as Cyclop but with Markus underseat-tank & Vario Topcase.
I think that in this config, the MM is the best tool for multi-purpose activities

Here is mine :

Very easy to fit and everything lined up and fitted without any problems or modification needed.

Have you had a problems with rust on the new pipes?

No, but then I haven't ridden it since I fitted them

Too much salt on the roads in the UK at the moment for the MM I'm afraid , so I've been riding the CCM and the Rockster over the winter

Don't want to get it in a state like this -

Looks like it to me. It also looks like he needs to get some gas soon.

Come on stop teasing us and give us the whole story. So, how much was it? Did you have to create a bracket to mount it? It surely can't mount right up to where the MM cluster mounts, can it? Does it plug right into the MM harness? Did you have to do anything to the ECU on the bike so it would work? Lets have it all

Outstanding !!

Throw in a HP2S engine and you're done. Sounds like a good project once the warranty on my bike expires.

to Cyclop

I asked the same yesterday...
seems that the engines are not the same (length etc)

Impossible to swap MM engine with HP2S engine

Perhaps a MM in 2010 with this new engine ??
