Im from Norway as well, just as RoteEddie, but I studied in California, Santa Barbara. Its actually not possible to compare mpg between the US and Europe, as the fuel quality is very different. If I remember correctly, "our" fuel brings us 15-20 % further than the stuff used in the US (on the other hand, gas is way cheaper over there)

I did sort of qualify it. My son is a P Plater, that means no more than 90kph. This particular time we where on gravel/dirt back roads doing many kms at 20-40-60kms per hour. It was showing 290kms on Trip1 and had a further 11 on reserve

By contrast, when its having its neck really wrung, doesn't do much more than 140/150kms per tank tops.

I mounted the new Brembo RCS master today. Very noticeable improvement. As I'm running in new brakepads and disks I'll have to get a few more miles in before really exploring the full power of this setup.

Are you still using the stock calipers, and which size Brembo did you get? Also, does the new lever match the clutch in terms of looks?

If any of you are interested in either the rack, bags or both let me know. I've already ordered a Ventura kit so I can use the same luggage on all of my bikes.

RoteEddie - have just PM'd you....

Loaded up and went on a great ride to the South West of Western Australia this weekend. Tried the Wunderlich Universal Adjustable Screen Extension which worked a treat to reduce buffeting on my helmet. Ugly as hell but at least I can remove it when I get back home!!

powercommander V

why would it be that a powercommander V is only suitable for MM 2009 and up? Im reading this info on the m-tec.org which stated earlier models should use PC III. CANbus change or something?
I am running a 2007 megamoto and would like to have it installed, with a quickshifter ofcourse .

I did a quick search and couldn't find any info about a quickshifter for the MM. Anyone know any more about it?
