I'll send the pics to a friend of mine in the IT industry and see if he has any leads. Frankly I am not optimistic because the original lead is only 8-pin and the GS's is 30-pin, I can't see how the conversion can be done.
Will reply ya by PM, likely take up to a week or so. Cheers |

GS Marc,
As I suspected, the connectors are different and it is hard to replace with a adaptor because the number of pins are different. It looks like the LCD screen was changed by BMW for GS/MM or for different production years. Sorry that I can't help ya. Looks like an actual MM cluster is your only option. Cheers |

Thank you Bikecat
![]() The HP2E cluster and R1200GS have the same 30 pins connectors. The MM has only a 8 pins ![]() I'm still searching a LCD but it's quite difficult to find...

Carbon Belt Cover
Just installed a carbon belt cover - these used to be a nigh on A$1200 option at new in Australia and for some reason they are now down to $400 - and thats from the local BMW dealer!

My experience with CF being in that area is that it is prone to pitting and damage.

Anyone used or using a BoosterPlug or Wunderlich controller?

Hi Bikecat,
I went with RapidBike EVO 019L and K&N filter and Full Remus exhaust. I'm VERY satisfied ![]() http://jemelapetenflat.xooit.be/t322....htm?q=dyno%2A

+1, especially in the blast radius of that front wheel. Lay on some 3M stone chip film, you'd protect it as well as be able to enjoy the carbony look.

I'm very happy with the results from the Accelerator, especially at the price. Check out my post from 6 September last year. No noticeable increase in fuel consumption either.

The wunderlich controller gives you more options over the rev-range. The other one just fools the injection by use of a temperature related resistance, making it think it is about 10 degrees celsius colder en thus it will richen the mixture. If you take away the cat. or put a 'sport' exhaust on the MM you will have to take measures for it not running to lean. |
