I believe that paint job (with the anus sticker and all) is a special Pike's Peak addition. If I remember correctly, they only built 50 of them. I also think all of them were sold in Japan.

Today I finally went back to get my rapid bike adjusted to the big bore conversion.

Before

After
Torque from 3200rpm to redline never below 110NM or 81.1 lb/ft, max at 98.9

On the 6th of June I am heading over to Andreas Reh and have him perform his skills on my bike.
This means that I will finally get the chance to have the MM on the P4 dyno to check how optimistic this dutch dyno is.

Yes it is smooth and flies through the rev range.
Has never been bad but this is something else.

The pad you can order at BMW dealer, I think it was meant for the HP2 Enduro.
Fair enough as well - know wants an anus sticker. Especially not on the front!

So did you end up getting the screen or not?

no, I'm still debating if I like the looks and I guess when it takes that long to decide the answer is more no than yes.

no anus sticker on the Pikes Peak Special Edition Japan

How do you guys corner the MM at speed? Body weight on outside peg, aligned with bike or inside the turn? I find that countersteering helps, but the body posture is rather confusing for me
