It will probably end up staying here. I was thinking of a new bike next year, but I may look for an old airhead to add to the garage instead.

I'm looking for an R90S too, but honestly not sure that the MM will stay with me if BMW releases that LoRider custom concept for real, I'd really like one of those.

In case anyone with a MM or enduro is interested

Hope this post doesn't get pulled, but in case those with MM's would like an as new header and don't go to the flea market so often due to scarcity of MM/enduro parts, I'm selling a Aros stainless header.
thanks

LoRider Custom......jeeeez, tell me it's not true......how could your tastes run from a 90S all the way downhill to a LRCustom? And how come I'm blackballed on your MM site....afraid of a little harsh language? Bruce

Hey Bruce....

The only people I thought I'd IP blocked from the site were the cialis and acai berry selling crowd who suddenly invaded last week!

Hey, I love the R90/S, but some of the Lo Riders sketches have real Cafe Racer potential, and that is my favorite style of all!

Imagine this one with a small fairing like a Mk1 Le Mans, and a nice stubby low slung silencer.

Oh hell, I just realized I can't upload an image here, well never mind, you know I have a good eye for design, so trust me when I say I can see how to turn the Lo Rider into a really cool Cafe Racer, and that is exactly what I'd want it to be.

PS: I found out what was happening at the site, I made it so I had to approve anyone joining, to keep out the sellers/scammers etc, but the software didn't let me know that anyone was waiting. It is a lot less user friendly than this VBB software, which I also use for the Z8 Board, I just didn't think that the HP2 one would be such a big deal, I really wanted somewhere to post pix, and also keep useful tech info.

My 2nd MM battery have just crapped out . My first was replaced 6 months ago, so I will obviously claim a new one on the warranty although I know i will happen again. Bike is ridden regularly AND routinely connected to a Ctek charger.

Damn. Mine is showing signs of tiredness too. There is supposed to be a better version available from BWM too. I'll have to search the threads for the part number

The new battery should be warranted for a year..

You're right! But putting in the same battery is not a long term solution.

I have found at least two possible alternatives:

1. Odyssey PC545
2. Exide SLA12-12 (listed as a replacement in their catalogue)

I'll probably go for the SLA12-12 as it is better quality than the YTZ12-BS and is rated at 12 Ah. Unlike the YTZ it can survive deep discharging.

The Odyssey is probably the better battery, but it's very expensive here in Norway and a hassle to mount.

Don't, repeat, DON'T put an Exide in your HP2...even if it's free/warranty! They are all junk.....The BMW dealer in Eugene squared me away on this after going thru four Exide's in two years......They installed a Yuasa two months ago and I've had no issues since...Bruce
