What are you tuning to achieve? Peak hp, smoother torque curve? I don't know what the Akra system liberates, but adding system on top of system usually complicates the desired goal.

What's your seat of the pants dyno experience with the Akra system?

Looking to smooth things out a bit. I think the akra has helped with top end smoothness. I Dont really care about peak numbers. The motor seems to hiccup a bit during shifting under significant acceleration.

Puuurfect stock...

Mine runs perfect in stock form, seems to get better and better with harder and harder miles! 3,800 since Halloween :) (bought it with 6K on the odom).
I am running through tires though, what do you guys use...?
Also, thinking I might play with an idea of replacing the stock headlights and farring with a custom job based on the BMW "lowrider concept bike..." How cool would THAT be!

I've been thinking of doing something too, I am not mad on the front in stock form. Looking forward to what you do.

I actually like the enduro headlight surround look. The front fender closes the "gap" between the headlight and tire better. I may take a look in the spring to see how hard it would be to add a motard type fender.

Damn! this was my idea too . Prices for the parts are pretty steep from BWM so I was looking at putting a generic enduro/ supermoto set up, but the the BWM front fender minus the extra plastic protective part looks pretty cool too, need to find a picture..........

BTW, was it me that bought the bike you were after from Lind Motorrad?
Bengaz, looks like having the mold made by the producing company would be too much to ask of you as they need the front panels for some time to make the mold. Thanks for the offer.
I need to come up with a mold myself or make something up to make a mold from.
My other idea is to cut down a wunderlich screen. If I keep the standard front end, So many idea's, so little money and time though

Wink alloy tank?

Looks like someone in Japan knows what they are doing with fabrication.
It has rear sets too so looks like a track bike build up. Couldn't find anymore on it at the moment... interesting though

Someone ought to tell Steve (the seller of the bike above) that 20K USD is a helluva lot for a used bike. Pretty ropey seat mod from the looks of it too.
