Ride it HARD!

I thought the MM was made to ride balls to the walls HARD! I like thrashing it around all rough and tumble

Thats true. And like someone said here a month or two ago, it also cruises nice and slowly very well too. I have no problem riding long distance on the MM. I think its more fun than a GS anyways. Less weight, more power, better handling... Its the perfect bike for me!

voon der lich

Just hooked a wunderlich performance commander up to my bike this weekend... does anyone here have any experience with it? Bike is stock, except the baffles are out... gonna try a buddy's K&N air filter in there tomorrow to see if it makes a difference....

I first tried the R1200S non tuned settings, and wasn't too keen on it... Dialed in a setting today right between standard and tuned GS, and it's now purring like a koala.

I wonder if BMW considered it a success?

I don't know what its sale target was, but I'm sure it must have had one, and I wonder if it met it? It seems like the recession met the MM head on, as it was more of a fun toy than the more serious for transport GS/GSA.
I'm not sure, but I think that the Enduro was maybe the most successful of the HP2 range as it was out well before the MM, the S and the financial meltdown. It seems there are a lot of unsold MM's and S's across the country, and the prices on EBay are reflecting pretty hefty haircuts if you want to actually move them.

Hey guys, Im thinking about trading in my MM for an HP2 Sport. I'm going to be taking delivery of a new Multistrada soon so theres no need for two bikes with sit up and beg seating. I'd like to have one bike that is more like a sport bike and therefore the HP2 Sport has grabbed my eye. Im just curious if there is any interest from you guys in the following addons that I will likely take off if I trade it in. Let me know if any of you might be interested.

Akra full Ti exhaust

Scotts steering damper (road version) with 1"riser built in (from Rbott)

Isotta low tinted windscreen

I havent really come up with a price for anything yet. This is post is just a feeler to see if I can sell them quickly or whether I will just leave them on the bike. Sounds like ill have no problem selling them. Prices would be reasonable, much less than the cost when new. The damper and pipes only have about 1500 miles on them. They are in perfect condition. I will let you guys know if I decide to trade it in. HP saucy will have first dibs on exhaust and Mr. magoo first dibs on damper.
