Capital parking

Last time I parked my bike down there some guy came running out to say hello!

Totally garbage night to be out riding.

Well at 0400 it looks like it sleepy time at the IBR I can only find one rider moving and he's a long way out still. It looks like there won't be a significant number of riders through until later in the day.

I'm going back to bed

Three riders “MEJ” “RW” and “207” appear to be south of St. Paul @ 5:35 AM a few others are near the western boarder. Mr. Weatherhead and I were planning on getting lunch today, 11:30 @ DOT cafeteria, if any of you are in the area and want to stop by.

I had freshly ground some beans and programmed the pot for 3:30. So now working my way thru 8 cups of coffee, should be twitching by about ten am. Good times.

Did it rain another inch or something yesterday? This weather is just gross.

Just talked to Jim Winterer - he's still smiling and doing great. Although he did ask what day it was

I don't think Jim knows what day it is even when he's not on a rally.

Glad he's having fun.

Mr. Weatherhead and I saw a few roll through on our lunch break but no one we were able to ID. I did happen to catch Tom and Rosie Sperry from CA on thier wing. I wished them safe travels and congratulated them on making it into the rally. They were all bundled up like it was -30 . I said I wished we could've given them better weather. Tom replied "It's Minnesota, it's what we expect."

Sorry, but right now the capital is all about turning off the lights, not keeping them on.

Won't be there. Out of town.

Otherwise I'd ride the Bonneville down there. Still, there it is.

I will, only the hard pipe came in so I am using the old lines. New lines come in next week. For this weekend I have 20 rustic roads I hope to knock off the list.
