As far as I know they are fine.

I've never changed a tire, let alone a valve stem, no idea if people usually wait for a failure or do them at a certain interval.

No, you don't have to. But when the tire is off the rim, it's good insurance.
Last year headed towards Vegas, my front one tore a bit and started leaking. I was kicking myself for not replacing it when I last replaced the tire. For a few bucks, I'll change mine.
Thanks.

I think this will be enough of a challenge without doing valve stems as well.

Fleet Farm is a good source for that type of stuff. Valve stems are really easy to replace.

Be sure to change your valve stem caps;

Fucking hipsters.

Just for that you should have to hand in your keys. Report to dfc for a long and thoroughly interesting briefing on things technical.

It's also a good place to drag womenfolk to, wander around for several hours not buying stuff, then at the end of it turn to them and say "see? It's bloody annoying, isn't it?"

PUI now

Or maybe I'll just go to bed.

Much accomplished. Fixed two clogged drains, of which one needed to be disassembled. Mowed the back 40 and got the KLR-lite running. Good post-work day.

In a week, a DR350 will be in my garage. Can't wait to hit some trails.

Powerlet to the VStrom

Simple upgrade tonight. Was simple and looks tight. The neighbor Brian had to come over and give his $00.02 for what the beer was worth.

Didn't like putting the drill to a nice clean solid piece of plastic, but in the end it was a quick and simple install.

Take care
