Trying to pull some strings to get part of the 2nd off. Hell, I'll go both days.

Also:
Ball Park Cafe will offer 12 craft beers, including local selections from Surly, Summit and Liftbridge.

More on new foods for this year: http://www.startribune.com/entertain...128009383.html

Well had a terrible head gasket leak that I had to attend to. I know I have higher miles but when I replaced the head gasket (same side) at the end of last year I threw in a new piston. so that only has 15000 miles on it. The bike has been pinging really bad at 4000 rpm when it is above 80 degrees and the bike is warm, thought it could be preignition / carbon build up. it was almost 1/8 inch at some points on the piston.

Also replacing the throttle body bushings from dan cata kit from adv. It has no power. I took it to a local shop and they said my valves were out of adjustment and did a valve adjustment, last year, but it did it again on the ride home and didn't want to start anything. Others have had similar issues also. I am also going to try and do a rocker adjustment to see if that helps and valve adj etc and see where this lands it. Any other ideas?

This is the third head gasket in about 2 years, I may have a warped head but just don't want to deal with it. I want to get the rest of the season out of this bike and maybe spring next year and then look at a new ride. big blue served me well..

Did I ever tell you about my magic packet of crush washers?

I once bought a packet of crush washers that was supposed to have 3 in it, but actually had 4.

That is some seriously cool shit, man.

Anybody interested in a WR250X? I know a guy selling one for about $3900, low miles.

Yes, but I need that money to put heat in the shop, and *ahem* make certain repairs to the house. Besides I want Krevins DR350.

I know all about head gasket leaks on BMW's , and trying to "finish out the season"

I think it goes: weep, seep, leak, I'm probably missing one in there. Airheads and Oilheads aint the same, but i do know that carbon builds up quick. I'd tell you to look at carb issues for the low power, but you don't have any

Are valve adjustments the same as airheads (easy)?

BTW, for those concerned , I did a valve adjustment today and the Timesert fix is still holding fine, although I did not do a head torque with the valve adjustment.

I amend my want requirements to Klays DR435.

Or - Krevins DR350 and I'll bore it out in my heated shop over winter.

OR I'll get the CB750 going and put the sidecar on it.

OR rebuild the Matchless G12DL.

OR do the valve job and various seal replacements on the ZX1100.

OR sit and get drunk and watch old episodes of "Then Came Bronson" and "Big Train".

One of those anyway.
