Powerhouse,

Looking forward to seeing the fancy new(er) steed.

Good luck with the sale. You reduced the value when you removed those stickers.

Will likely do a shorter excursion in the meantime to clean up a few other stragglers in various places. Similarly if you have any interest in that, let me know.
Hmm... keep me posted.

Pffft. It's pretty easy to smoke on a gas grill.

Will do!

Riding was good this weekend. Piefest is much fun. Recommended.

Now trying to decide what to do next weekend. Might go and get the Wisconsin tag if it hasn't moved.

Riding to Mindoro Cut on sunday with the Belle Plaine Triumph owners.

Should be allright. Think I'll take the Bonneville for that.

Enough of these musings.

New camping toys? Here is my new toy. Got it home Sunday at 2 AM from Ohio.

Thanks for riding shottie Jon B!

There's some excellent riding in the area. WI95 is the obvious route, a ridge-top ride with lots of sweepers that you can see clear through. The really good stuff begins when you get down off the ridge, Joos Valley Road, Alligator Slide, Pretzel Pass (I swear I have heard the banjo music in there), River Road, and tons of other good stuff. Eagle Valley Road is one of the most picturesque, and at the same time, most twisty routes in the area, and has been resurfaced within the last couple of years.

Thanks for the reply, I ll be sure to check out those roads. The owner showed us a video of their Boss Hoss rally. Thirty to forty of those things doing long rolling burnouts! One had eleven hundred horsepower. Cool place.

Bling

I have a Touratech helmet shelf. I won this freakin' fabbo piece of loveliness at CADVR V.

I finally put it up. Nice and high so I won't smack my forehead into it.

Here it is juxtaposed with the KLR.

And completing its purpose - with riding jacket hung upon its oh so splendid hooks.

Gravy visited my peeps!

Were you able to try their burgers? I've not actually been there for burger night. Hmmm. Need to make that happen.

Yes, it was great! I forgot to write down the name but it had fried red onions and a delicious creamy sauce of some sort

Best part is since they grind their own beef you don't have to have it over cooked

I had the beef brisket sandwich and 2 ribs. Both were borderline dry and the ribs lacked a pronounced crust. It was pretty low on smokey flavor, too. I would say it was average bbq. I didn't bother stopping again on my way home.

That does look dry JackJack. Still, you win some, you lose some. Just the way it goes. Keep us appraised of the good BBQ joints you visit.

That new ride looks ok though, I think you'll pull through

Bring it up to Pine River this weekend and get some scratches on it. Scratches are a great excuse to install stickers.
