Lazyrider just bought a bike and needs to get it from Ham Lake to south Minneapolis. PM either of us if you can help.

I will miss your tree photos, Klay.

I had a favourite tree in Saskatchewan, used to ride out there at sunset.

State Fair report:

Ole's Cannolis in Heritage Square: awesome
Korean bbq pork tacos at blue moon diner: pretty damn good
Turkey to Go giant turke sandwich: still a benchmark for turkey everywhere

Also I was able to find Premium and Nordeast everywhere and didn't have a drop of that sconnie swill that is so pervasive in the MN state fair.

Oh, also, this is an abomination, reducing viewing pleasure and encourage wimmens to remain unhealthily skinny rather than eating sufficient bacon sammiches to stay warm in winter.

The MN State Fair - Hipster Approved!

I do appreciate the music brought to us by the sconnie swillingizers at the Leinnie Lodge. Anyone interested in seeing the Mavericks on the 29th? That Raoul Malo has some awesome pipes.

I was more than a bit annoyed to go on the first day, before Heavy Table published their food guide. There are a few things in there I would have tried, for sure.

Mr. LS Giant-

We found the one we wanted to buy in Rogers for $18,500, however that dealealership was not willing to deal, at all. I found this one in Ohio for $5,000 less than the place in Rogers wanted. I called the place in Rogers back saying I had found one for $13,500 and offered him $14,500 for the one we had looked at. They were not interested. The total fuel costs were $470 to drive there and back. I guess I saved $4500 just like that!

Note to all: If you purchase a Reese weight distributing and anti sway receiver, you will *need* a 12mm allen driver for the bars. You might not be as lucky as I was to have an AutoZone right around the corner and buy the last one they have.

*Edit* Sorry if I offended you with the Mr. in front of your screen name, my bad!

Klay-

Sorry for your loss of a wonderful tree. Your pictures are quite wonderful, a few of them I can recognize the general location by the buildings / items in the background.

Perhaps we should organize a lynch mob and ride around with pitch forks, torches , and swinging chains until we find the guilty. Perhaps we could then compare them to a duck to see if they float!
