I have been listening to the responses to his passing, and while I enjoyed his music it seems that his importance is being blown quite out of proportion, I think that happens quite frequently these days . It seems he's most often remembered for "Take Five" (or Take Fave as Prop would say) and no one seems to remember it was written by Paul Desmond

Still, sad to see another go....

I generally just shovel snow, dig into my reading, and tease people on the internet.

Today, my first day off, I actually had all sorts of things to get done. My next three days off look like a yawning gulf of inactivity. Maybe I'll turn to drink.
