I just watched a case on the peeps court about a 17 y.o. kid that bought a motorbike on Craigs list. He trailered the bike home and it ran like shit, no oil in it and a rats nest in the airbox. He sued the seller for a lemon of a bike and won!

Seems that in Connecticut that minors can say the bill of sale is void and worthless. So the kid won and the lady has to come and get the bike and give the kid his money back.

I figured on this sale the kid would be SOL but he wasn't! Now it makes me wonder if I need some sort of contract to sell my bikes. Any ideas?

Don't sell to a minor.

You can get this stuff at Fleet Farm under the trade name Kaput (?). It is what goes in those little black plastic boxes you see around places for pest control - you'll need some of those too. The nice thing about the poisin is that the mice will bring bits back to their nest and share it with the rest of their furry friends. Glue boards will also work. As Rick mentioned, place whatever method you select along walls.

The key to winning this battle is seal any openings where they might be getting in. Get a can of crack sealer from the hardware store and do a careful inspection of the house, sealing everything up. Look from both the outside and the inside.

Minnesota seems to be developing a persistent water main problem.

We have a pool and a pond.

The pond would be good for you.

I would guess most of the major plumbing systems in and around the city were installed around the same time-frame.

Must be close to the end of its life cycle.

Trying to get 100 yrs out of a cast iron water main may be wishful thinking.

I'm close enough to downtown that I lost water pressure yda afternoon. Well, I got an email that said I did. I wasn't there.

In unrelated news, fuck best buy in the arse. four thousand people trying to sell me shit, two working the registers. Why, do you ask, would I go to BB? I had to send back a duplicitous Christmas gift and couldn't print the emailed RMA without ink for my goddamn printer. Cost me thirty bucks in ink and ten in shipping to send back a seventy dollar item.

Is it too early for a beer?

I'm up for giving the skiers and snowmobilers cooperative snow weather through February. After that... forget it.

It's apparently not too early to whine like a whiny whiner, who whines a lot.
