The breakfast sammich and the corned beef at Merlins are both top notch.

Now all we need is for winter to, you know, fuck off.

Keep Your Fingers Crossed

If everything works out it looks like I may have finally sold my Shoreview house. I will then cease payments for a home I no longer live in. Perhaps a new bike later in the year is possible again. We'll see...

Good luck Scott.

In other news, remodeling a home bathroom is a pain in the ass. Today I learned removing a tile floor can suck. Especially when you find a second sub-floor below...

At least all the wood seems to be in good shape with no water damage.

Mouse and I stopped by Merlins at 4:35. Didn't see the usual suspects so we had a pint and took of before it got too fiddle-de-de in there. There were bagpipes.

We caught the Pipers at Morrisseys, didja notice IceBat was one of the pipers?

BTW, the report on Morrisseys was positive, reasonable prices, good food (although Grainbelt thought his burger was so-so, but he's never happy) small but decent Tap selection, happy hour 4-7, waitress was kind to us

We were at Morrissey's Irish Pub on Lake & Bryant. We heard the same group!
A shout out thanks to Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band & Ice Bat (bagpiper in that band) for the entertainment tonight.

We just missed you. Sorry 'bout that. We wrapped up about 4.10 ish or so or thereabouts on saturday (if you meant saturday).

And.....

To all you feckers who were begging for snow at the start of the season, banging on about your new snow tyres on your cars, I hope you are damn well satisfied with yourselves.

Because this winter shyt is all your fault.

I bought a snowblower last fall. Thought was, if I buy one I won't need it. That theory proved wrong.

I got my ZX1100 all finished up yesterday. It runs great, it's probably in the best shape it has been in since it left the factory. But now it has to sit and wait for everything to get clear.

In the meantime I can now finish buffing out the abrasions and what not from the last year and get the Bonneville ready.

And I suppose I might as well see if the CB750 will work. I'm dubious because it looks like someone let the smoke out of the igniter modules.

But I might as well not bother because it's going to snow forever and ever now.

It's going to be an awfully short growing season.
