It will still be snowing on June 15th, obviously, but this is worth putting on the ride radar maybe possibly perhaps?

Maybe not. No good can come of it really.

Like I said in the Devils Lake thread I am planning on going but I will already be in the Dells from June 13 - 28th. Wife is still pissed at me for last year when we were in the Dells for a week in July and riding over to Richland Center when she got a short in her headset cord and then going to New Glarus on a day when it was 106 degrees.

On the return trip home last year some time after stopping in Elsworth and getting home I also smashed the lightbar on my trunk when the 16 quart cooler on the tongue of the trailer bounced up and cracked it. So it is back to using the smaller cooler on the trailer until I get a new one.

Yeah I stolerized your flyer. Sorry about that. I think a gathering based around beer, brats and bacon (and cheese) is pretty excellent.

The place will be packed of course, but hey, that's the way it goes.

No problem. I stole it from New Glarus Brewery's Facebook page first.

I figure Carr Valley will probably be there but I did not look yet but they make good cheese. You have to be more careful when you get their cheese curds though to make sure you get a fresh batch vs a day old one.

I am out of New Glarus beer right now I have to get some next time I go see my folks since they live in WI. But they make plenty of good beers and the last beer I got of theirs was the Apple Ale and that reminded me a lot of hard cider.

With all that effort, it may as well do something useful. Let's say fetch a beer or make a sammich...

I am pretty sure I had 1000 miles on by this time last year. I have no motivation to put my bike together. It sits in pieces in the basement. Too much snow in the yard to get it out.
On a brighter note, has anyone heard of a Tech Day? July or Sept at this point?

This info was in the Meet & Greet section:

Cave Day IIII March 23rd!!!!!
Hey Folks, FYI I do a little tech day every year, and this year it is this Saturday. Drop me an email if you want to come out. I will have burgers and brats and a big pot full o beans. Bring something to pass.

For planning, the Cave is just north of St Bonifacius on 92, and since this is a multicultural event with the COG and ST folks.
All are welcome, just bring your favorite beverage, and maybe something to pass.
I have plenty of seating and I will have a full sized grill.
There are restroom facilities for those wishing to bring the SO.

Please email me if you plan on coming, and if you wish to bring a bike. I have a Handi lift (thanks Linda) and a smaller frame lift for use.
We should plan for a 10AM start and I will try to get there no later than 9. It is over when Snowberg starts to sing.
Since this is a secure location, please try to get there on time so we don't have to make too many trips to the gate.

Pack your own hand tools, I have a compressor and some specialty items.

My email is strichmn@gmail.com , drop me an email for exact address and my cell number. I hope to see a few folks make it.

Hey guys, been a guest here watching this thread for awhile thought I will just join in on the talking.

I live in Blaine, MN and I just picked up a Kawasaki Versys 650. I totaled my vstar 650 last year by a cager turning into me resulting in me t-boneing him. My left foot is still messed up but going to try getting back on the horse this season. That's if this damn snow ever goes away! ha

Hope to do some group rides with some of you this year!

Nick
