need a lightswitch mod !!!
Finally took my bike to the mech to get it fixed, after the noise problem... it got to a stage where it would not even try to kick over... not having a on off switch for those lights didn't help much... anyway when i get it back next week, i am thinking about trying to work out the wire that powers the headlights... so i am wondering if anyone has made a light switch mod ? so then one can turn off the head lights ? if so, then which wire is it ? both the lights have a yellow wire going to them, but i can't seem to find where it dissapears to once the loom goes under the tank.

extracting teeth is less painful than going to yamaha dealerships to get repairs done
Quote:
then they told me how much it was going to cost to replace the parts... just the parts alone... $1000, plus labour on top. so i told them that i couldnt afford it right away, so i told them to put it back together so i can pick it up and put it in the garage till i had the money to fix it, well never am i going to go back to yamaha to get anything fixed, they decided to charge me $185 to pull it apart to work out the problem, and to put it back together. talk about a rip off, i'll buy genuine parts, but i'll never go there for anything else. anyway i picked it up last saturday, and now my bike is at another mech... a husky dealer, who has told me a different story, and it wont cost as much to fix it, and has cost me nothing for them to look at it. oh and they looked at it first thing on the monday, not a week later.
