Me too, Met too!

You mean there are unpaved roads left in Illinois?

there are some. Especially if you head over towards Danville and Indiana.

Here's a little ride I did the other day, 90% gravel, and once in Indiana it hits some covered bridges and such.

I moved here from Chatham. Trans alp friend is from lincoln, BMW friend is from chatham. Both ride over each month and most of the time we meet up someplace.

Ride on Sunday Oct 12th

I am up for a ride on sunday. Couple here seem interested. I have an 80 mile round trip that does have a little double track, gravel, "twisty" roads as well as a little known historic site as well as a wildlife area. Would gladly share the ride with all interested.

Post or email if you want to ride.

Anyone interested in a psuedo dual sport ride, Meet at the Philo Casey's on Hwy 130, 9 am Sunday Oct 12. Dirt double track, gravel included. For those who would prefer to stick to pavement, there are alt routes at all points.

Please Post for roll call.

I live in Mahomet. I have a KTM 690E. My buddy Paul is in Urbana, he has a 990ADV.

I know another guy on here, JeepBoy, he has 950SE and lives close by as well. He did have a 950ADV-S as well, but a fire melted it not to long a go. It was a sad site to see that thing melted. It brought a tear to my eye.

CATGS has a nice 640A and some decent BMWs. You want to sell that 640 CATGS? I need one bad. Let me borrow it for the weekend...

It looks like there are quite a few of use here.

There are exactly two....

Drop me a line when the bike arrives. There are a few dirt roads west of Mahomet, some farmer two track as well.

I have not ventured east of here much.

SquallyWally, lets shoot for the first weekend in Nov. You can show me your eastern routes. I am booked up every weekend between now and then.

I am on vacation the week of Oct 20 as well if anyone is available during the week.

Just put 800 miles on her this weekend. Rode her to the Falling Leaf Rally. Did some great gravel and creek crossings. Some technical sections, but I kept her on two wheels. We must get together for a ride.
