Just a reminder - the Tag is not moved or officially collected until a NEW TAG is posted. So for those of you who take your picture with a TAG - you run the risk of loosing your new Tag if you don't post it before someone else.

By posting the location of a Tag before a new Tag is up, you make it easy for someone else to steal the spot.....

Are you serious Buck??? That's not how I under stand rule #3.

"3. The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose."

As I read it, as long as you post the pic of your find first, you're good to go.

I understood that you had to post the new tag too. I recall seeing this in one of the other tag forums (of course it doesn't mean I read or understood it correctly). I think it had something to do with the ability of someone posting an existing photo to hold a tag up or something? I also seem to recall Evilclown grabbing a tag from someone who didn't post up the new tag in Vermont?

Damn, now I'll have to go find that post again.

EDIT>>> OK, I conceed can't find anything other than first to post gets to place the next tag. It seems everyone is just cutting and pasting the rules form the same original Tag-O-Rama post. I honestly thought I had seen a really good bulleted list from someone in Ohio with far better rules and parameters, but I can't find it. No biggie... Anyway, it would seem the rules are lacking in that someone could get a tag, and never post up a new one due to any number of reasons. So how does a tag expire? Does there need to be a global Tag-O-Rama rules forum?
