And for the purposes of this thread...while a girl looks just about any bike, the Norton tradition there is hard to beat!

(And very lucky!).
I would upload some recent pics of her, but for some reason the website won't let me upload. However, there are 3 recent pics of her at the Ace Cafe launch of Sam Manicom's latest book, Distant Suns, in London, last November.
They are on Sam Manicom's site here:
http://www.sam-manicom.com/dslaunchpage.html
Just keep scrolling down till you get to them. I think the best is the last.

Elspeth also features in both the book and DVD of Nick Sanders' 'Biker Britain' made in 2006.
http://www.nicksanders.com/publications.htm
She's always popping up (with her Basic R80GS) in the 2002 Threshing Barn programme of Grand Designs and in an episode of 'The World's Most Extreme Homes' that was made in 2005.

Elspeth

showing how Elspeth's bike looked when she set off around the world, before her first crash, which broke the fairing! (BMW in Harley Street)

One from 2004, doing the KTM Adventure weekend in Devon, as written about by Paul Blex in TBM, and another from 2004, with Paul Blezard and his much abused R1150GS in North Wales.

more on shortly from pnb

Re: nicest CBX

Oh thanks for the tip on getting pic to show. It is one of my favorites. I found it on an ebay auction. Guy was selling the CBX a few years ago.
