What, Hi!

The script works great! A photo only shows once. It's still listed in each subsequent quoted post with a link that will open the photo if you want. Granted sometimes there's flukes in it. TBolt created three different scripts for ADV. Here's the link:

http://bolty.net/nifty-stuff/the-adv...r-for-firefox/

This works on Firefox, though. You'll have to do one other very easy thing before getting TBolt's script to work. It's just downloading and installing Greasemonkey. The link to do that is on the above page.

Check out the other two scripts at the bottom of the page too.

Enjoy,

Liz

Might be here already...

September 15, 1937. "First of fair sex to obtain motorcycle license in Capital. Although she weighs only 88 pounds -- one-third of the machine she rides, Mrs. Sally Halterman is the first woman to be granted a license to operate a motorcycle in the District of Columbia. She is 27 years old and 4 feet, 11 inches tall. Immediately after receiving her permit, Mrs. Halterman was initiated into the D.C. Motorcycle Club -- the only girl ever to be accorded this honor."

C Squared, Strong Bad, Joe Bar, et al, Hi!

That little Greasemonkey script changes the way we surf these threads in a big way, doesn't it? TBolt did one better though, with the Ride Report De-crufter.

You know those intriguing Ride Reports you come across that have a huge number of pages? You start to read through it realizing more than half the content is people giving accolades to the OP, quoting photos and all. Well TBolt's De-crufter eliminates all posts in the thread except for the ones posted by the original poster.

Now that you have Greasemonkey loaded in your Firefox, all you have to do is go here and click on the Install De-crufter thingie.

http://bolty.net/nifty-stuff/the-adv...r-for-firefox/

When you get to a thread you want to De-cruft, click on the little box at the top left of the very first post. Every page from there on will have only the OP's posts in it. On top of that, whenever you come back to that particular thread, it'll be the same way. You don't have to click the De-cruft box every time you view it.

Helpful? Do you like?

Enjoy,

Liz
