Clearly pre ATGATT era!
Someone must have some history on the rider.
Hadn't thought about UE (RIP) in a while. He bought my previous 2001 W650 and now I am trying to sell another one.

I don't think so. I knew Earl and Dot years ago. They owned the local dealership. Lost touch when they retired.

I posted a pic of my mom and dad on his Jawa back in 57 in Germany.

My mom is now 86, and it dawned on me I have never given her a ride on any of my motorcycles! Maybe I can do something about that yet, just gotta figure out how to get her on the bike. Once on the bike she can sit there fine, backrest and all.

Bike has a centerstand so I could have her get on first, then me. Yup, gotta do it.

Do it. I have a pic of my mom on the back of my XV920 on Mother's Day years ago when she was about the same age. Short ride around the 'hood so she could say she'd done it. Must scan the photo and post someday.

This, to me, is the epitome of what this thread is all about.

I love the glamour shots as much as anybody else, but this is such a classic. I feel it's the best picture here, and never tire of seeing it.
