Just finished reading this book about Peggy Iris Thomas who shipped her 125cc BSA Bantam to Canada from the UK in the early 1950's and, along with her dog Matelot, rode 14,000 miles through Canada, the USA and Mexico mostly wild camping.
Incredible woman and a great read

I just finished that book as well. Amazing woman. Amazing trip. Too bad she lost her typewriter and exposed film. But it was still a great story.

Indeed a great read.
Prior to this trip in North America she did one in Scandinavia, travelling with a friend, and a report was printed in the magazine;

I am still looking for a copy. Anyone?

Cheers, Piet
