curious to get an idea of how much heavier it is compared to the KTM roadbook frame bracket and standard enduro lights & shell etc

Hey Garry.
Christmas greetings from sunny Blenheim in NZ mate!
Go and see Don McGrath at Cycle Products in Bibra Lake as he has taken the 530 RS Concepts kit off the bike. You can hold the bits in your hand and feel the weight yourself (get your mind out of the gutter!) and have a close look at it.
I did last week and now will definetely go with the Meca'Systems stuff. (Meca'System now do a tank fairing combo like the RSConcepts one but using twin HIDs the same setup as the Rallye's. "Team Kiwi" will almost certainly go that way now).
Ciao

You riding yet?
Get yourself over to Nelson next weekend and come with us for the "New Zealand Safari" aka "Dusty Butt 1000"

1000km over one or two days of slow boring Top of the South scenery.

Should be up Altimarloch (1693m) in Blenheim then.
Public roads and speed limits ya know.
You can't hurry when herding cats (12 or more adv riders on the 2 day - 18 odd on the 1 day) .
