Maybe I need to put a reward on my tool tube, however all has been replaced . I now can handle a flat on my own.

Used Tires

Any of you GS guys got a used set of Metzler Tourances laying aroung the garage you want to part with?

I have to slab it to Southern Illinois for five days next week and trying not to trip it on TKc's.

Any tire 150/70/17 rear and 110/80/19 front will work really..........

I have a used set of Shinko 705's that size I just took off the GS. The front would make it to Il. The rear...maybe not. They are in Alexandria though.

I have a front Tourance take-off, probably has 500-1000 miles left in it. I'll take a closer look at it tonight and try to get a better idea. Home is Powhatan, work in glen allen.

That sounds good if it is leaning more towards the 1000 mile side.......and you're closer than HBN. Although I don't mind traveling to get any good offer. Let me know.....thanks!! Home is New Kent, work in Newport News.

Still thinking..........

I'm not saying the Scrambler couldn't handle this but I know I wouldn't take MY Scramber up there if I had one. Oh, but there are other dirt roads we could take in the area that would be big bike friendlier.

You can go directly from B to C, fiddlers is connected. You don't have to ride the big loop.

GS tires

SL - i have a set of Shinko 705s that i'd part with.
The front has been run about 11,000 and the rear about 2,000.
Both have decent tread left.
BUT they are the older biased ply construction.
