Back over close to the RLD . . . .
Took a little afternoon jaunt yesterday just west of town. Nothin' special, but a nice way to spend a couple of hours on a fall afternoon.
Near the Stone House on the Mansassas battlefield.  Along Waterfall Road just east of The Plains.  Then a couple more bike photos in The Plains.  Rob says the banana suit detracts from the vintage aura of the photo. Wonder what the heck he means?   Along Whiting Road just outside of "Frogtown", which is a larger dot on the map than on the landscape itself.   For some reason, I always seem to end up on gravel roads . . . . Not sure if I'm livin' wrong or doin' somethin' right . . . . .  Rock Hill Mill Road, west of Zula Road.

just rolled into Staunton from a quick weekend at OBX. The wind and rain started Saturday night and didn't seem like it was going to stop anytime soon.
All n all, it wasn't too bad driving back out this morning. There wasn't any flooding yet and coming over the bridge wasn't too bad, considering the 40-50 mph winds. They're calling for 3 more days of the same there, so when this thing hits the mainland, its going to be interesting...
