Wow, this was one of the related vids from that same road. I bet that guy was sore for a while, but looks like he fared okay considering...

The LEO did NOT give him a ticket and DID help him pick up the bike.

Well, I am calling off all the negatives I posted.

I followed the second video posted, of another crash on that road, onto YouTube and came across a whole collection of filmed crashes from that stretch - apparently it is on Mulholland Highway. Sort of a weird fascination, but here it is: http://www.youtube.com/user/rnickeymouse

Judging by those videos, that road is a total squid heaven and crashes are routine. Meaning that wherever the patrol car would park, it would cause someone to do something stupid.

Thus, I stand corrected.

Lot of the wipe out's looked like happening on the same bend, maybe bit of dust or sand on it,lot of traffic on that road, dumb place to hoon, some of the riders just had no idea.

This is the best example of target fixation that I've ever seen.
You can clearly see that his head never turns... he never comitted to the turn.

I thought the exact same thing! He also comes into the turn set up way on the inside of his lane. That poor sucker had no freaking idea what he was doing out there.

Just a funny one about the HD MoCo and Buell. Sorry if it is a repost.
