I'm too tall.

I guess I'm an inch too tall. Just replaced my stock windshield with a Cee Baileys +4" and the result is a much quieter ride when it's all the way up, with almost no roar/buffeting. But if I duck just one inch, I find myself in a completely quiet pocket of still air. One inch!!! Maybe I should slouch all the time.

Nonetheless, I highly recommend the Cee Baileys windshield. The install was very easy; it took me maybe 10 minutes. On those long days on the interstate, I'm sure the quieter windshield will much improve my riding experience.

Wow, GREAT color, don't think I've ever seen that. She does indeed look showroom.

I ain't all that smart, but don't the European/UK versions of the FJR come with different paint than the US versions?

Yes, always have. Not sure about Y's reasoning on that.

I'd be curious to know Yamaha's reasons, also. Not that I'm complaining... but a couple of the European colors are gorgeous!

First world problem: "What do you mean I can't get my new FJR in smoke grey? I'll just have to paint it!"

Last day of 2012 deserves a ride. Got out for a while, it started sleeting so I had to slow down some, but still a good ride:

I've been tempted to try one but I absolutely need to be able to see over the screen, not through it.

Hell, I'm only 50 miles away from you. Maybe a get together in the spring so I could have a look-see before making the investment?

If you're willing, you might try something different with your handlebar positions. May be pleasantly surprised.
