Nice color, same as my '12 almost. Too bad you couldn't keep the TDM. I always thought that was nearly the perfect motorcycle, except we can't get them here in the U.S. anymore.

6 days to go, may be sooner

I would have liked to keep the TDM900 as it's an exceptionally good bike, but I cannot afford the luxury of two bikes at the moment

The FJR1300 is a bike I have wanted for a long time, and this one is the right colour, it's ABS and I have a good deal from the seller on my TDM so all is good

Came close to selling my 04 this week,,,, close but didn't.

I found what I thought was a mostly original 92 ZX7 Special Edition. I have enough bikes and don't really need another due to money and storage issues so I had to sell either the DL650 or my FJR in order to get the ZX7. In the past few years I've gravitated from sport touring to adventure touring and dual sporting so the FJR just doesn't get rode much anymore. Acouple of times in the past couple three years I've come close to selling it. Each time I thought on it and considering the money I would get {or lack thereof}, I decided it wasn't worth selling such a good bike.

I put it up on the local craigslist with a disclaimer that I was only selling it to get another bike I had wanted for some time. The next day, I looked at the ZX7 and discovered a really decent "restoration" of a regular ZX7. For the money, I was thinking it might be an original garage queen. I looked, started it, sat on it and just plain decided not to sell the FJR. The seller of the ZX7 even asked about a trade for the FJR. If I had the money and space and didn't need to sell the FJR to get that ZX7, I probably would have bought the ZX7 outright but nope.

I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of such a great bike and more importantly,,,,,,,, a bike that has so many great memories associated with it. It's still one of my favorite bikes of all time but I have just changed how and where I ride. It's no longer my "go to" bike but it still holds a high spot for sure.

This is my new to me 2003 in my garage this afternoon

Damage is slight and not an issue other than a bent rear brake pedal

Can't be ridden yet as I am waiting on V55 so I can tax it

MOT'd this week, so is structurally sound and the mileage for the last 4 MOT's is confirmed and this is a genuine 2003 with 19800 miles

Condition is very good and it's got heated grips and I noticed some titanium brake mount bolts and it's exceptionally clean underneath including the exhaust looking showroom fresh

Sounds sweet as a nut, but as mentioned, unable to actually road test!
