Well, I bough the bike used. I guess when the shop was changing the tires out they failed to tighten the bolts down enough. Fender came off as I was riding to work one day. Snap crackle pop; fender in pieces. Scared the crap out of me.

New fender came in last week.
Yamaha FJR fender and all new hardware delivered: $98
BMW 1150RT fender NO hardware, not delivered : $278

I'm enjoying this bike more and more!

How's Bungie keeping up with you or others in the twisties?

I can't see dragging the pegs with a car tire on the rear.

He said that it handles like a truck. A truck with plenty of grip, mind you, but holding it through a turn gets tiring. Soon as he can, he's gonna go back to a MC tire on the rear.

I got to a point where I just couldn't follow him any more. Everytime he'd go into a turn, I was mesmerized watching the tire eventually lift up and I could see daylight under it!

He also said that with the rear CT, that bike will wheelie RIGHT NOW!

That's what I figured.
May be worth while on an interstate crusing Goldwing but can't see it on the FJR.
