Each side case will hold an XL full face helmet and some XXL helmets if they are not too tall.

Mine fits a XXL Nolan N-102 but, it's tight. I face the chin bar forward at an angle poitin into the lid. Won't go in there any other way.

I don't run my bags all the time but if I remember correctly my Arai XL wouldn't fit.

I usually use a cable lock if need be or take it with me.

Heck, you can come over and test your helmet fit in mine...

If it doesn't fit buy it anyway and add a top case, I run a GIVI 55L.

I'm waiting for the leaves along the Blue Ridge Parkway to get some color for my last long multi day ride of the year. I can't think of a better bike for long distances on curvy roads. I want a sport bike in the next couple years if I ever get the funds together and I know I'll miss the FJR comfort and all around power. No bike is perfect but, the FJR is close to ST heaven.

Yes, each side-bag will fit a full-face helmet. The Givi E52 on mine will also fit 2 helmets, but not much else.

Yep, I have a JC Whitney knock off and it will hold two helmets. Two helmets in the top box, one in each pannier for a total of four helmets. The FJR is pretty popular when the group pulls into a place to eat.

I'm about 6'1"
I replaced the stock windshield with the Yamaha touring windshield.
It's about 4 inches higher and 2 inches wider than stock.
It works pretty well for me.

Has anyone put a higher amp fuse into the aux slot and run heated gear thru it? Manual says not to do that but I wonder if it would harm anything.
