Shit I did to, I'll get on it right away.

And I forgot to mention that this whole project will be under taken sober.

I hardly ever drink anyway.

Took me a while to find all the right bolts.

I'm a bit worried about the plates the linkage is bolted to, that bolts to the frame that I had to make.

But I'm running out of time here and it will have to do for now.

I have to put a tube in the front tyre (and I might try and find a more aggressive knobby while I'm at it) and hope I can find the rear axle so it will start to resemble a real bike...

If by any chance you were looking for the keys, they are still in the ignition barrel...

PS to speed up things a bit you may want to consider to drop the entire bike in a barrel of WD40 overnight. Keep up the good work...

OK its been a bit of a slow morning.
I spent most of it finding bolts and stuff to bolt everything up properly but the good news is I now have a rolling chassis....

And next we move on to....

Nar... that cow is one of the stupid ones...

Any way the RACE PIPES!!!! are on...

And I tore the carbs out for a quick clean.

A clean that they clearly needed....

I managed to clean them but I still can't seem to get them in focus...

But anyway I put the carbs back in and just for a laugh I squirted some starting fluid down them and gave it a kick.

Nothing happened on the first three kicks... But on the fourth!

Nothing happened, same as the fifth and sixth kick.

But then I turned the kill switch to run and she ran beautifully for a second so it is all coming together...

I finished of the rear brake buy using an old spanner as a brace...

And put the pod filters I bought yesterday on....

And then went out and cleaned the tank out.

I hooked it all up and gave her a kick in the guts.

She fired up first kick and sat there happily idling away.

She is back in the shed waiting for me to bleed the brakes and hook up the gear lever.

I might even start thinking about a seat!!!

Trev, it was the psycho girlfriend thing that hooked me on advriders in the first place. I can't help but think that you are about to reveal some kind of sacred image of a crying virgin mary which has miraculously etched itself into the tank or some shit like that.
