You are getting a new GS imported from Germany?

Yes. Coming from the factory. I wanted a specific color and accessory package that wasn't in stock. So I had to wait for one to come off the line.

New GS

Are you going to put it away until summer or will you be tagging thru the winter?

No intention to put it away. I try to ride the scoot in winter too. It's a bitch without a fairing and the small tires are a little sketchy with wet/icy roads. The GS was due in last week but the title and papers apparently lag a few days behind.

Bought it from Max in Ct. I'm leaning toward having it delivered on the Island, rather than have a 75 mile first ride on relatively unfamiliar parkways and a bridge who's traffic pattern and pavement changes every 2 days. Call me a wuss, but I think I'd rather shake it down locally.

....Man, I'm getting impatient!

I wouldn't call me a fairy for wanting to be cautious on the first ride.

Oh, you wrote ferry.

Thought about that, but the road(s) from Max to the boat are even more unfamiliar than running down the Hutch etc. Plus I'm trading the Vespa, so that's a long ride on 250cc without a windshield.

Alright.....I'm a fairy
