Reloading is a must.
I shoot SASS on occasion, started out strong and then missed a few shoots last year and kinda fell off. I have 1866 (see previous page), 1897 pump and Uberti black powder frame single actions. I am rebarreling the pistols right now, they have 44 mag barrels on them from the factory and the forcing cones were waaaay too big. After 1 shoot the rifling can barely be seen for the first inch of the barrel, of course I was shooting .427 (44-40) bullets until I slugged the barrels and realized I should be shooting .431. A quick call to Uberti verified that they use 44 mag barrels on both models.

We are trying to get a 3 gun and IDPA going locally, as of now it is a 70 mile drive to the nearest range that has either of them.

Good luck with a holster.

Get the version without the rail. You'll thank me later.

I went to the local gun shop and checked out the Sig 226 (.40) but would like the 220 (.45) if I were to get one.

They had a sweet little Sig .22 in desert/tan camo, the new checkered/pixelated type with a threaded barrel and a mock silencer for training. Gives weight and length practice, just doesn't silence, but the gun itself can be silenced.

That would be a fun plinker.

You'll have a real hard time finding a holster that will fit it properly.

Yeah, but you would think that in htese times with EVERY gun basically haveing a rail version the friggin holster makers would step up. The don't only a few like Blackhawk make rail holsters. I can't even find a holster period for my Walther P22 because I am left handed, well except an ugly nylon one that I bought that is just OK.

Sweet, thanks, but I'm going with the warrior.

Yeah, the Mosquito. I knew the name, forgot to say it.

What's wrong with them?
