I'd make that into a wicked SBR.

Fun video, sounds like he kinda liked the gun. Who makes the loader he's using?

Not really much need. The buffer tube is the same length as a carbine buffer tube, so you can shoulder it just fine the way it is. There are also other pluses:

- No worry traveling over state lines (try that with an SBR).
- Legal to keep loaded in the car.
- No headaches starting up a trust for the form 1
- I can buy $200.00 more in loading supplies!

True.

Doesn't ook all that comfortable to shoulder though.

Would it violate laws to cover the back in rubber or something?

Like a little rubber plug maybe?

No, it is legal to cover the back with a piece of rubber, as long as it is round and not larger than the tube itself. Many guys use walking cane rubber bottoms over the back.

I think I'll try to find one as well to put on the back of the tube.

Sweet!

What kind of accuracy can you get out of it?

And to double check. It is all the same as a regular AR? Could I drop a .22 conversion in one?

Yep, everything is the same as a regular AR, just a shorter barrel and no stock. I shot my .22 ceiner conversion out of mine today and it worked great. Nothing like shooting 30 rounds out in a few seconds, group wasn't too bad either

BTW, I bought the upper from JSE Surplus. Great company to deal with, cheap prices and shipped the day after I ordered it. http://www.jsesurplus.com/custom223pistol.aspx

I've built (and sold ) two AR pistols, and they are a hoot! The first one was accurate enough to shoot rats at ~150 yards. I never got to try the second one past about 100 yards before somebody offered me too much money for it.
LOUD does not begin to describe it, neither does "way fun"!
In my experience, not real easy to effectively suppress, maybe because of the short barrel. I was using an SWR Wolverine. Depending on the load, they can also produce a pretty good muzzle flash after dark.

Dammit..... now I'ma go make another one!
