That is top dollar even for one of the nicer older ones.

Someone on another forum called Hornady to confirm it was real and they said it is, but the demand has been way more than they expected and they're waiting for production to catch up.

Stopped by a local gun store today looking for a 1911 but I ended up with this:

I get distracted too easy, I picked it up and it felt perfect in my hand. Its a S&W 4060 by the way. I was shopping for a .45 in stainless but everybody was out of stock in the Para's and they all tell me the Ruger SR-1911 will be at least 90 days out.

Nice thing is that it only cost me $350 with tax, a box of shells and a holster.

I had a buddy in my police academy class that carried one of those... Shot real real nice, but I'll be damned if he EVER finished a qual course without at least one malfunction that forced him to strip n pitch a magazine.

Anyone have a Leupold Mark AR scope? I was looking at one this morning with the Mil-dots. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, is it worth the extra bucks? I was also looking at a Redfield for half the price. It didn't have the BDC or Mil-dots though.

For an AR, i like the Millet DMS-1. Available with the PEPR mount from SWFA for a fair price.

Sounds like the mag was the problem. Magazines are the heart of any firearm that uses them, especially semi-autos. Sometimes it's the design, but I have had some with bent lips and such that would malfunction every time while good mags worked fine.

Damn. That's purty.

Edit: Holy shit. For US$2,500.00 it better be pretty.
