Wish I had your money. I used to get 9mm from Dicks for ~$8.00 per box and .45 for~$15.00 per box. (case price) Not anymore.

I'm not rich, but a $12-$16 box of 9mm once a month or so isn't bad.

I can get blazer .45acp for $18.

Not great stuff, but if I'm just plinking it doesn't matter.

Who wants to shoot just one box a month, though?

When I told a friend of mine what I was paying, his reply was, "I used to get that for $5.00 a box!" He's been shooting a lot longer than me.

That's normal cost for me. I could get a box every week if I wanted, but I have other hobbies.

I can also get them for less or better quality for the same, but it's a privilege I don't want to abuse.

Hell, I'd shoot every day if I had the time and money.

+1. And if the range weren't so far away.

Sig 1911 in 22LR.

Well, at least that takes care of the money portion.

I have an RIA tactical with a marvel precision .22 conversion.

Only draw back after that is range fees.

Yeah, I was feeling pretty fat, paying about 60% what my son pays to shoot his .45 1911. But it feels better now that I got this ...

Another Beretta, .22. I could shoot this thing all day long!

I'm sure it shoots fine but that is one ugly gun.

I try not to be predictable. My GF said I'd say that.

It actually does shoot quite nicely - I, on the other hand ... Nice& tight at 7m; 14m not so nice. Definitely need work at 21m.

On the subject of 45acp, you mention Blazer at $18.....I'm assuming that's for a box of 50. I hadn't purchased 45acp in years, have thousands of rounds of brass and handloaded stuff thanks to my Dillon 550 purchased in my IPSC days, but I wanted some factory for an experiment so last weekend I went to Wallmart and bought one of the 100 round Winchester Valupacks for $37, which works out to $18.50 for 50. Nice thing about that is that the ammo is excellent quality and uses, obviously, Winchester brass which has always been my favorite brand for handloading. What do Valupacks cost in TX?
