quit posting Scorpion pics, that thing looks better every time I see it.

Is that the full size or carry model?

Edit: never mind, don't tell me, I don't even want to know. There are half a dozen things I need before I start farting around with 1911's

No link? No pin? No upgraded barrel? Didn't print slide to the frame? Sights? All of those are serious accuracy upgrades.

That Avenger thing is a comp conversion they offer for like 1200 that fits all 1911 frames like a .22 conversion but it is available in .38 super, .40, 9mm and .45acp. Unfortunately they no longer picture a regular 1911 with their grips on it for the grip ohotos since they want everyone in the world to notice the Avenger. I might get an avenger in either .45acp or 9mm.
I do need to see these toys in person some day!

Anybody shooting the "new" Coonan? Found a off the wall forum about them and apparently they are very good..with a long waiting period.

Snagged up a new Sig 220 last month. Factory night sights that are so bright you can use them as a flashlight
Also aluminum grips which I also love.

Don't need them, everything is so tight on this gun it shoots like it's a laser.....it can't be any more accurate. I only do what is needed to a 1911 for carry use as well. No need to mess with anything already in spec.

1911 boys, magwell or no magwell?

Persoanlly I can't stand NOT having a magwell on all my 1911's. Wondering what you guys think and have. I'll bet many don't have them and have never tried them.

Look at the bottom of the frame on my Kimber Tac Cus II, that is a MagWell. It flares the bottom of the mag entry point to aid in faster easier mag changes. Plus, I think it makes the gun look cooler.
