You can get a 9 but I have a 45 Ultra RCP and that carries 8 of 45. I also have 9mm carry pieces. Seems if you're gonna go 1911 you might as well go big. Some of the Kimbers run well, other people have nothing but trouble.

I am on my second and have had no problems in thousands of rounds. Only FFE's were when bugwife limpwristed it.

Good pieces with lovers and haters.

Nice Warrior.

Looks like something from the toy aisle at K-Mart.

They claim more durable... i think they are moving towards unalterable. which will mean jard volq, rimfire technologies etc full units for 300/pop.

Hmmmm, maybe I should keep my spare 10/22 around just for the sake of keeping it!

Screw the Ruger, go get a Marlin model 60. Simpler, lighter and easier to clean up. Mine is more accurate as well.

I like the 60's, but I don't know about simpler/easier to clean.

Ruger is very easy to clean, and the ruger magazines just about make up for the accuracy, plus if you get a used ruger and slap a good barrel on it they are pretty much even.

Owning both, the 60 is the choice if you want to spend as little money as possible and have a great basic .22 semi auto.

But if you can budget 200+the 10/22 you will have a great little gun (with the old ones atleast)

10/22 + GM sale barrel, plus bolt buffer, plus trigger mods = very nice little gun.

Model 60 + nothing = model 60, nice little gun but not possible to get a magazine as nice as the 10 round ruger flush mount.

Its the same reason I bought a Ruger 77/17 HMR over a savage/marlin/cz. Even if arguably the others are better buys cost wise none has as nice magazine system as the ruger.

I got the Marlin 60 and ruger 10/22 both as used guns, and cleaning wise I think the Ruger wins, certainly if you do a full clean the 10/22 allows easier take down. And as far as lubrication either does well with graphite dry lube, neither likes being run oily.
