My advice is try and find a cherry used one. The newer ones (at least those I hear of) have feeding problems.

PPKs

Older 22s had plenty of feeding problems compared to my Beretta model 70S about the same size.

Or get the little Bersa...it is really a ppk copy, and a pretty darn good little gun.

Yup, a little trigger polish, chamfer/fillet some of the edges, a little durakote and you've got one hella little shooter :pewpew

David,

I have an SR25 EMC. All .308 AR's will drain your wallet, so budget will determine what you get more than anything else. Of the three you listed...the OBR wait times are through the roof unless you find one used or in stock somewhere. The REPR was hit or miss for me...nice rifle but I wasn't impressed with the ones I've handled and fired. One in particular wouldn't group better than my HK-91 did with South African surplus ammo no matter what ammo we tried (handloads, FGMM 168's and 175's, Hornady Match). I think that rifle had a bad barrel though, which can happen with any MFG. I purchased the KAC because it was my "dream gun" short of NFA firearms. It shoots 3/4 MOA all day long out of a 16" barrel, sounds great with a suppressor, is reliable, and doesn't weigh much at all for as heavy of a profile of barrel that they put on them (ball mill dimpling makes all the difference). What particular questions do you have about the rifle? Mine functions flawless with almost all ammo I've tried. It has choked on some underpowered MagTech .308 FMJ ammo, but if you are going to spend $7-8k on a rifle and optics then good ammo shouldn't be a concern.

With an Aimpoint T-1 for yote hunting:

Still waiting to pick up one of the new Leupold MK6 3-18x44 optics with Horus reticle...which I see were just recently released....finally...

And fits my hand better than the PPK at half the price.

I assume you're talking of this one?

It does look good! Plus I can get it with a 15 round clip. Thanks for the tip!

I've had a PPK and a Sig 232, I like the Sig better. I just thought you'd want to know.

So with my days being free time I've been playing with making spinner targets. Hope this gives some others some ideas and yes, I rewelded and it works fine now.

hickok45 just did a review of the new 938.

If I were looking at pocket pistols it'd be at the front of my list.

Very sweet. I'm in the process of looking for an EMR, with the 20" barrel. I always buy used.
