Shot this with the Colt yesterday. 25 yards, handloaded ammo using a 55 gr fmj and W748 powder. Looks like it'll work.

Also put 3 20-round mags through the Bushmaster. No malfunctions, gas key stayed put. I'm gonna keep an eye on it though.

If you look around, it's possible to find a Browning M1955. http://myweb.cableone.net/leolani/FN...sassembly.html

Nice little pocket .380.

Nice group.

You are way off with the stapler though. Try holding it with 2 hands.

Okay, so now that I have this nice little (it's really little!) Mini 14, what's the best ammo for it. It's a "fun" gun, I don't hunt. What's cheap, and will not damage the beast? It came with scope rings? Anybody put a scope on one of these? Of course you have.

The piece of cardboard I use to hold my "targets" has been shot up pretty good. Sometimes I gotta use a lot of staples to get one or two to hold. I'll get around to fixing that someday.

My favorite for factory ammo is PMC Bronze. It's gotten a lot more expensive in my local shops lately though. About $8 for a box of 20. I'm sure you can find better deals online. I don't use any of the steel cased stuff, that's just a personal opinion/preference though. I think it might be harder on the guns and it's not reloadable.

Another vote for the PMC bronze. It has worked very well out of my Mini. I've been finding it for $6-7 online (Natchezz, Bulk ammo and Ammo man usually). I've shot steel cased stuff to see that it'll work (it does) but it is my emergency only ammo.

Glock 17 or Sig SP 2022? Up in the air about this one. Which would you choose?

I generally like Glocks, but keep in mind the G17 has a DAO trigger while the Sig SP 2022 has a DA/SA trigger. For some folks that's the deciding factor.
